It's official - both Fleux FLX001 and FLX002 has been awarded a Good Design® Award by the Chicago Athenaeum for 2023! The award was founded in 1950 by Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen, and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., who was a curator at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
When I embarked on the design process, I never imagined that my work would receive such a prestigious accolade. The goal was simple - to create something I would want to wear, in the hopes of finding a like-minded audience. Little did I know this path would lead to the acknowledgment of some of the world's leading designers.
As I humbly announce this honor, I am reminded that the journey of design is an ongoing exploration. My heartfelt thanks to the Good Design® Chicago Athenaeum for recognizing the essence of this endeavor, and to everyone who has been a part of this beautiful journey.
